Principles and independence

How independence and impartiality are ensured.

An arbitrator appointment requires the parties’ absolute confidence in impartiality. In his practice Aliaksandr Danilevich is strictly guided by the IBA Rules on Conflicts of Interest in International Arbitration.

Disclosure. Before accepting an appointment, any circumstances capable of raising justifiable doubts are disclosed: past cases, connections with parties and counsel, publications on the merits.

Red list — decline the appointment. Orange list — disclose, the parties decide. Green list — no disclosure needed.
